FROZEN YOGURT!!! Came here for dessert!! Obviously... after dinner... Miss the frozen yogurt in NYC... Can't believe they really have one in Des Moines... Browsing through the webpage before that to see what flavors they serve.. wow... TONS of flavors for you to choose... so I was expecting a little more... My friend and I love fruits flavoring for frozen yogurt.. instead of chocolate.. to us.. yogurt = sweet + sour... The only flavor that caught our eyes were only banana, mango, original, pineapple, and orange.. The rest were brownies, chocolate, pecan..... I don't know... Do midwestern have more sweet tooth??? I tried the snickerdoodle...it's way too sweet... and the orange flavor... it's also pretty sweet.. I got the pineapple and mango without trying... because I remembered I had it in NYC and it's pretty good.. Can't go wrong.. but the pineapple and mango taste is way too artificial... I guess they do not blend it with real fruits.. A little disappointing but I think it's still ok and good to enjoy it as a dessert.. At least I don't feel bad because it's not as filling as ice-cream/cheesecake.. or other dessert.. I might return again :)

When I first saw the Orange Leaf sign next to a vitamin shop, I thought it was some kind of health store. I first found out what it was in the WDM newspaper. I had tried another frozen yogurt place in the area and enjoyed that one so we tried this one out too. The place was busy with high schoolers. They have some very modern furniture. Definitely orange decor. There was a lady governing the sample cups. I thought I would have to give up my first born child to get a sample cup. I like fruit flavored yogurt so I had the pineapple and the blueberry banana ones. I chose not to add any toppings. My fiancé had the red velvet with toppings. Mine was good but I got sick of the blueberry banana one. My fiancé's red velvet was really good. It was better than the red velvet I had tried at the other place. The only downfall is they seem to not have a to. Of toppings. Oh, I almost forgot, I love their square yet rounded spoons!

Coming from SoCal, I've been to my share of frozen yogurt shops so I know what's good and what isn't. When you walk in, the vibe you get is already pretty awesome because the place is furnished so brightly. You soon spot the machines in the back of the room and are drawn in that direction by an unknown force. They have a ton of flavors of yogurt and they are all so rich in flavor. From fruity to chocolates, they have it all. I always get a lot of different flavors just to get the full experience. They have sample cups too, but you have to ask for them. Their toppings consist of the usual candies, fruits, and etc (including cookie dough and popping boba). The downside of this place is that it is a heaping $0.45/oz. That is definitely a lot more than the other froyo shops I've been to.

The tagline for this place is "America's Frozen Yogurt," which I guess is true because in catering to the American palate, it's the only froyo place I've been to that doesn't offer the original/tart flavor. Gaspeth! No worries, though, because their flavors are tasty nonetheless. We sampled (and ended up getting) vanilla, passion fruit and orange, which were all good. Their mochi had gone hard, so the pieces were a bit tough to chew. The orange paddle spoons are so cute! What I liked the most is that the guy who was helping us out with samples was friendly and had a pretty comprehensive knowledge of each flavor, giving us a description before serving us the sample. Great service! The place is quite big, with lots of seating, and we got to watch Diners, Dives and Drive-ins while enjoying our dessert. Sweet!

Compared to CherryBerry and Menchie's, Orange Leaf offers the largest number of flavors, but I think the flavors at CherryBerry taste better and have a nice, thicker texture.

This place is very good! If I had to knit - pick anything it would be they are a little bit too expensive. If you don't mind spending a couple extra dollars, go for it! I've been there 3 times in my 10 days here in town. It's clean, delicious and staff was friendly. What more could u ask for?

I wish I could bump this half a star and give it 3.5. Just had the Wedding Cake flavor and deeeelicious! Toppings: strawberry, cherries, and chocolate chips- Yum, yum, yum! I will surely be back for that one! Also, the customer service was much better with a different guy that wasn't just hiding in the back between customers, but instead asking people as they came up if they'd like a sample. Can't wait to try the cheesecake or dipped strawberry flavors next time.

This is self serve low fat frozen yogurt with unlimited toppings. They offer samples which is great to figure out which options will be best. They often have new sampler flavors that change. My favorite flavors are for sure Tart, Blueberry, and Coffee. I usually get a mix of all and end up spending $5-6 just on myself! Only pit fall is the large cup...it makes you want to fill it entirely and even if you don't...

What a fun place to go. We saw everything from young men on motorcycles, to little kids with their families, and a few senior citizens (like us). The yogurt is really good, and the toppings selection is abundant. I had the Red Velvet - Cookies and Cream combo. My gal had the coconut - pineapple combo. Both were delicious. We noticed how clean everything was, and how efficient they are at getting people served. We highly recommend this place

I had never been to a self serve yogurt place like this although I had heard about them. Stopped in last night after doing a little shopping and I must say...IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! The brownie batter yogurt was delicious and there were way too many toppings for me to choose from. I will be visiting here much more often!

Better than Menchies and less busy. They have fresher fruit and a better rewards card.
